Polaris Poland once again hosted their hugely popular Polaris Camp last month, taking place at the Drawsko training ground – the largest military training ground in Europe.
The ninth edition of the customer event welcomed over 600 Polaris vehicle enthusiasts from all over Poland and neighbouring countries, with as many as 351 Polaris vehicles filling the machine park; all of which, divided into groups, stood at the start of the 50-kilometre night route on the Friday evening, providing a taste of what customers could expect over the weekend.
After an evening spent around the campfire, Saturday morning began with the departure for the day route, taking place across 120 kilometres of varied tracks and terrain. In total, over 70,000 kilometres were enjoyed by the participants with commemorative medals presented to each rider. In the evening, Polaris Poland organised a special guest stage appearance from 9-time World Cup winner and Dakar winner, Rafal Sonik. Together with the originator of the “Great Expedition of Toddlers”, he led the auction for the benefit of children injured in road accidents, with a total of 201,000 Polish Zlotys being raised in total across the weekend.
Campers partied well into the early hours with a lineup of dance shows, kitchen rarities and agility awards, as well as a fireworks display and a DJ so they could dance the night away.
