Celebrating 18 years since the first-ever Polaris Camp, Polaris France once again hosted an exceptional weekend of off-road riding and entertainment, inviting hundreds of Polaris riders and their vehicles to enjoy the incredible trails nestled in the beautiful Dordogne Valley.
On the weekend of 16-17 September, over 500 riders arrived in the small town of Reygades, bringing with them their array of old and new Polaris vehicles, including RZR and RANGER side-by-sides, and Sportsman and Scrambler ATV models.
The event saw perfect riding conditions thanks to the heavy rain the prior week, whilst sunshine and warmth dominated the weekend. Off-roading opportunities included the new off-road trails that offered a long loop of technical challenges and wide-open spaces that lasted over three hours, as well as the new tourist route for a more relaxed and scenic ride through the beautiful region of central France. Riders also had the opportunity to discover the new RZR XP—launched by Polaris this year—on the specially designed test track that showcased its full potential.
In high demand throughout the weekend, Xavier de Soultrait, Dakar Rally pilot for the Sébastien Loeb Racing Team, was on hand to share his impressive RZR Pro R with fans and discuss his Dakar Rally experiences.
The participants were welcomed by a large village set-up specifically for the event, offering a full display of the current Polaris lineup, including the European premiere of the 100% electric RANGER XP Kinetic. The basecamp also hosted Polaris shopping opportunities, as well as entertainment throughout the weekend, including a raffle with big prizes up for grabs; an early evening “apéro des régions” brought everyone together for a drink and a tasting of local produce; an impressive and unique chainsaw wood-carving show; and a remarkable concert led by two talented singers well into the night.
This year’s Polaris Camp set a new benchmark and provided a unique experience for all participants.
